Artist Statement
As a New England-based artist, I draw inspiration from the region's rugged coastline, picturesque countryside, and rich history. My oil paintings aim to capture the essence of this unique region, from the warm glow of autumn foliage to the dramatic seascape of the Atlantic coast. Through my art, I strive to evoke a sense of place and connection to the natural world. I'm fascinated by the way light interacts with the landscape, and I seek to convey this sense of wonder and awe in each piece. My artistic vision is rooted in a deep appreciation for the beauty and character of New England. I hope that my paintings will inspire viewers to slow down, appreciate the beauty around them, and connect with the natural world.

"I paint many subjects, not limited to - seascapes, beaches, boats, docks, architecture, western landscapes, mountains, sky-scapes, forests, and abstract. My mediums are oil, acrylic, watercolor, cold wax and on occasion pastel. Using a variety of brushes and pallet knives I'm able to achieve soft tones, clean color contrasts and vivid texture.
I have shown work at the Gulf Stream Bath and Tennis Club two years in a row and exhibited at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod in South Yarmouth, MA in February, 2025. I've enjoyed building a following through social media and personal referral. I've been painting professionally for five years and in that time I've been honored to do a number of high profile commissions. My goal is to continue to grow as an artist, and get my work seen more widely.
